I stayed here during my conference in Lecce for 4 days. The hotel had a vintage look inside (kind of Russian decor I would say!). The price includes a breakfast buffet. We could find local restaurants and grocery shops close by!

I’ve had 2 weeks in the Hotel President in room 510 , what can I tell you it’s brilliant from all aspects of service , cleanliness and the staff nothing is too much trouble they help you in anyway they can. Breakfast is a traditional Italian type of breakfast outstanding . I’ll definitely be back as I come to Lecce a couple of times a year.
Convenient location in Lecce. Staff is courteous and many speak English which is difficult to find in this part of Italy. Great as a base to explore south eastern Italy, easy in and out. Lecce is vibrant and really comes to life at night. A great city in which to walk and enjoy the architecture.
Spacious room. Most mod cons. Breakfasts can be a little hectic and require patience. We enjoyed it generally. Our group had good choice of evening meal menus.
Never again! The hotel was very mean and basically robbed us. I booked 1 room for 2 people but when we came they gave us 2 rooms, I don't know why. When we came back in the evening they said they made a mistake and we have to pay 60 Euros. The next morning I spoke to another receptionist, who kept saying that we wanted 2 different rooms, which we never said and was a blatant claim. Funnily enough we then settled on 50 , although the hotel made a mistake. Wi-Fi is slow and the staff speak very basic and limited English. The hotel looks good on the outside but really is falling apart. When I paid the bill the next day with credit card she said it cost 180 but she didn't show me the amount on the machine. In the afternoon the bank statement said that I paid 203! So again they robbed me like the dirty thieves they are. I absolutely hated the hotel and the way we were treated was outrageous. Avoid this hotel at all costs it's a trap for tourists.
Quality/price is a good hotel. Near city center of Lecce. The rooms are very comfortable and very large but a bit old style in my opinion. The WiFi network works very well. Breakfast is good.
Spacious rooms and helpful courteous staff. Underground parking at 10 euros but we parked opposite for less as was Sunday and no street charges. Rooms are not modern, but are clean, comfortable and in working order. Recommend.
The breakfast, the persons in the reception and the clean sheets and towels was really great and that's why I give them the 4 stars!! The rest of the house needs a big renovation!!!
