Stefano let me choose coloured glass to make two pendants. 1 for me and 1 for a friend. He let me take a photo of him blowing the glass. When I returned home to Canada, one of the pendants broke in my luggage. My bad as I hadn’t added padding to the box it was in. I emailed Stefano to let him know and I offered to pay him to make me another pendant. It took some time, but he ended up mailing me 2 similar pendants and he would not accept any money for them. Amazing. Highly recommend!

I have been looking at glass everywhere I go for around 7 days now, and I think the glass in this shop is much better than most. Stefano made a wine bottle stopper while I watched, after we were chatting and I said I would love to watch him work. It was very interesting to watch! I looked at little picture frames all over town and his were some of the best I saw and not outrageous price at all. Stefano is a real craftsman and artisan, taking great care with his work. He assured me (without me asking), that he never sells glass from China, as many other shops do nowadays. You might as well buy your piece directly from the guy who makes it! (He does not make EVERYTHING in the store, but it all is made either in Venice, or Murano.) He wrapped my purchase carefully. I hope I can get back there to get a wine stopper before we leave! Also, he is in a very scenic location next to a beautiful canal and several places to eat right around there. Then, you can go walk down to the waterfront, (very close), and stroll there.... VERY scenic! And NOT crowded! There is NO SALES PRESSURE at this place, which I appreciate a LOT.

Stefano was blowing beautiful glass pieces when I walked by on my way home from the vaporetto today, and I was happy to be able to purchase my set of goblets directly from the artist. He speaks English well, wrapped the pieces for my travels, and I will remember this Murano glass shop in the neighborhood where I enjoyed Venice, for many years to come. Thank you for your kindness today Stefano!

Stefano is a wonderful man who custom made a necklace for my sister, and it is stunning! We visited his store August 19, 2017. His prices are FANTASTIC and the quality is excellent. Tiny store but filled with all the Murano goodies you can handle. I bought a beautiful purple pendant and earring set for ten euros and then a drop pendant for ten euros, all of which were stamped with Murano Glass (so you know it is not from anywhere else). We had walked all through Venice and visited many glass stores, but Stefano's store had both selection and great prices. My mom bought a golden necklace. We bought a lot here and I would recommend you make an effort to get to this store - if your ship is parked at Port of Venice San Basilio, you walk over the bridge beside the Vivaldi statues overlooking the canal, then turn left at the first street, past the open square. The store is on the right side (because the canal is on the left side!). Stefano speaks English well, and I just want to say, I have no personal affiliation, but I told him I would do a review because after many many many glass shops, his store was my favourite. Still wishing I had bought more!
