Amazing, delicious, super, magnificent place to be! The old fashioned atmosphere is so authentic and moderate - nothing is too much, just the right amount of past century finesse.l and class. The burger was excellent, beer also - a huge variety of beers, coffee is strong. The staff was super helpful! Just go there!!
It is a historic place. No questions about that. At the same time, the fact that it is a historic place makes them somehow reluctant to acknowledge their mistakes. For instance, we ordered two IPAs and they brought two heinekens instead. Nothing wrong, just a mistake, but then what does the waitress does, she says ok I will bring you the IPAs and brings back the same Heinekens. Only after I went to the bartender they granted the IPAs. Even then they didn't say just a simple \Excuse me\ but just brought the bill with the hidden message to clear the place.
My bag was stolen in an almost empty Bar Magenta. The Manager refused to have a look around also in places I was unable to go such as the gents or corridors as it was my fault for being distracted. He said it had happened a lot and no bags were ever found on the premises. Despite this the cctv was switched off. Appalling!
