We had a lovely stay at le Ragnaie. We’d had some trouble with our car hire and the hosts were so helpful in finding us a driver for our stay and recommending places to eat in Montalcino. The room was lovely and clean with a comfy bed. Tasty breakfast. Great views from the pool and if you get a chance to try the wine - do - it’s delicious. We went on a nice walk to a nearby abbey and went wine tasting with lunch in nearby vineyard - Poggio Rubino too. A lovely break in Montalcino! Thanks!

Le Ragnaie was a perfect stop for us. We stayed two nights so we just barely scratched the surface of their hospitality. The staff are warm and friendly, give helpful advice and serve a delicious breakfast. Our room and most likely all the rooms have stunning views. We had a nice little kitchen, a hot pot, a small (1 cup) coffee percolator and most of the needed utensils. If you are cooking for yourself in Italy....well why are you here? It is nice to have a few things if you bring some prosciutto or cheeses back to enjoy on the deck and for that you are well equipped. They were working very hard to get the grapes in from the fields, yet still had time to be very cordial and accommodating. The town is a short drive away and parking was very easy at Le Ragnaie. In town it was not bad for us to park and we got around quite easily. We would highly recommend Le Ragnaie to any and all.
Great location close to Montalcino , acomodations where clean and with great views. I hope to get back soon, i do recommend this place.
We visited during Covid and, understandably some things were adapted to cope with these new times. The pool, for instance, has no sunbeds and the rooms are not cleaned during your stay. Thing is that we've been travelling all over Italy for the past 3 weeks and have stayed in at least 8 different hotels. None of which have used Covid as a reason for not cleaning rooms or having sunbeds. Sunbeds, in these other hotels, were disinfected after each family use and rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day of our stay. What these other hotels did have in common regarding covid measures is that all of them have stopped buffet breakfasts, which makes perfect sense. Sadly this hotel didn't offer any fruit options for breakfast, but did have all the other usuals. I would like to add that after requesting someone to come clean our room during our stay they were very understanding and immediately provided that service to us. The family room we booked was clean and spacious.
Stayed at the end of April for two nights. Great accommodations in an amazing location. A friendly staff and spectacular views. Would definitely come back!

Great stay with attention to detail. The includes breakfast was very good. We got a tour of the wine process that was ok that followed by an amazing wine tasting. The whole experience was great!
